This post is over due but I wanted to say thanks to the awesome crew that made this marvelous event happen, educators and sponsors, and share a few snapshots of this incredibly inspiring experience, Edcamp Murrieta. Edcamps are free PD, thanks to the sponsor's generous donations, and I believe it's true, you get what you put into it. Christina Lee and I enjoyed the event very much and feel like we had some great take aways. I personally feel like I have more to learn about Chromebooks because the newer devices have come a long way over the past two years since I researched them. Thanks Miguel Guhlin for sharing some resources that compare models, here. With California Common Core State Standards online testing starting in 3rd grade, you cannot help but look at this affordable device to get the job done. In our district we are trying iPads with an attached keyboard. I'll keep you posted on how it goes this Spring.
